Derek was incredibly responsive - he always took care of any concerns that we had very quickly. Here's an example: the grill and utensils that were there were dirty, which I informed him about. The next day a brand new expensive Weber gas grill with utensils were brought to the house and set up. He and his team went the extra mile in rapidly communicating and taking care of any issues, and in a very friendly way. Another example: as there were two babies in our family gathering, he immediately purchased an extra 'Pack&Play' crib for us at no extra charge. The house and location were lovely: perfect for families and children. Lauderdale by the Sea's shops and restaurants and the terrific beach are all a short walk away.

The apartment is really well done! Had beautiful furnishings and a very comfy bed and all the little things you need. It's clear alot of thought went into preparing this space!

Derek was an amazing host who went above and beyond during our stay. It was our first trip with our 5 month old and our flight landed late at night due to a delay. When we asked Derek if there was anywhere close by for us to get water, he was kind enough to have a case of water and snacks delivered at his own expense. The AirBnB was great and we especially loved the private backyard space. We would definitely stay with Derek the next time we are in Fort Lauderdale.

I’ll start with the things I look for in a stay. Safe location? Yes. Hot shower? Yes. A comfortable bed? Yes. And, is everything mentioned in the host’s listing accurate? Absolutely. This rental is well suited for both short and long term stays. The couch shows some wear, but a deep cleaning of the upholstery would likely restore it. Otherwise, the unit was clean, well maintained, and comfortable. Having previously lived in the Fort Lauderdale area, I can confidently say this rental is located in a safe neighborhood. There are several restaurants within walking distance, and the beach is just a quick hop over the bridge. I was in town for a funeral, and the host was very accommodating throughout my stay. I made two requests, both of which were communicated clearly and handled without any issues. I truly appreciated it. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in the Fort Lauderdale area, and I hope to stay here when I return.

Derek’s place sits in a cute little neighborhood in a very convenient location. We found the place to be very comfortable and felt right at home during our stay. I would honestly choose to stay here again in the future.

Derek muchísimas gracias por la excelente estancia que nos permitiste vivir en tu casa, porque es hermosa , impecable, cómoda y está muy bien ubicada, además muy bien dotada de todo lo necesario para sentirse cómodo. Ambos anfitriones son muy cordiales y diligentes a las necesidades que tuvimos , respondían y solucionaban muy rápido cualquier solicitud. Los recomiendo ampliamente. Nuevamente, gracias !!!!

Erik does a fantastic job as host! There was clear communication about all aspects of our stay from start to finish. Upon arrival, there was an incredibly thorough welcome guide about the neighborhood and surrounding city that did not miss a single detail. We love to cook so having plenty of kitchen tools was a plus - same with the coffee amenities provided by our host. The back patio area and loveseat swing are also perfect spots for a morning bite or cup of coffee. Both bedrooms have fantastic noise machines that we appreciated each night. While you are close to a lively town, we never found it to be an issue in the slightest. Being able to walk all of said town was another plus! We love to avoid ride-share scenarios when possible so walking to and from a night or afternoon out was such a treat. Easy to say this stay would be my top choice next time we are back in the area!

Derek was a great host with excellent communication throughout our stay. The place was exactly as described, and the pool was a really nice bonus—clean, relaxing, and well maintained. Everything went smoothly, and we had a great experience overall. Would definitely stay again.
