Derek was an amazing host who went above and beyond during our stay. It was our first trip with our 5 month old and our flight landed late at night due to a delay. When we asked Derek if there was anywhere close by for us to get water, he was kind enough to have a case of water and snacks delivered at his own expense. The AirBnB was great and we especially loved the private backyard space. We would definitely stay with Derek the next time we are in Fort Lauderdale.

I’ll start with the things I look for in a stay. Safe location? Yes. Hot shower? Yes. A comfortable bed? Yes. And, is everything mentioned in the host’s listing accurate? Absolutely. This rental is well suited for both short and long term stays. The couch shows some wear, but a deep cleaning of the upholstery would likely restore it. Otherwise, the unit was clean, well maintained, and comfortable. Having previously lived in the Fort Lauderdale area, I can confidently say this rental is located in a safe neighborhood. There are several restaurants within walking distance, and the beach is just a quick hop over the bridge. I was in town for a funeral, and the host was very accommodating throughout my stay. I made two requests, both of which were communicated clearly and handled without any issues. I truly appreciated it. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in the Fort Lauderdale area, and I hope to stay here when I return.

Derek’s place sits in a cute little neighborhood in a very convenient location. We found the place to be very comfortable and felt right at home during our stay. I would honestly choose to stay here again in the future.

Derek muchísimas gracias por la excelente estancia que nos permitiste vivir en tu casa, porque es hermosa , impecable, cómoda y está muy bien ubicada, además muy bien dotada de todo lo necesario para sentirse cómodo. Erik does a fantastic job as host! There was clear communication about all aspects of our stay from start to finish. Upon arrival, there was an incredibly thorough welcome guide about the neighborhood and surrounding city that did not miss a single detail. We love to cook so having plenty of kitchen tools was a plus - same with the coffee amenities provided by our host. The back patio area and loveseat swing are also perfect spots for a morning bite or cup of coffee. Both bedrooms have fantastic noise machines that we appreciated each night. While you are close to a lively town, we never found it to be an issue in the slightest. Being able to walk all of said town was another plus! We love to avoid ride-share scenarios when possible so walking to and from a night or afternoon out was such a treat. Easy to say this stay would be my top choice next time we are back in the area!

Derek was a great host with excellent communication throughout our stay. The place was exactly as described, and the pool was a really nice bonus—clean, relaxing, and well maintained. Everything went smoothly, and we had a great experience overall. Would definitely stay again.

I had a really good experience renting from Erik & Derek. Erik was super responsive from the get go and continued to be throughout my stay. Co-host Derek actually came to meet me in person as I was moving in my stuff and was welcoming and helpful with some questions that I had. The place was plenty spacious for a single traveler like myself, and I was especially impressed with their generous provision of clean towels. The neighborhood is closely walkable to everything in Wilton Manors, and yet it is equally quiet & safe when you're ready to settle down for the night. These gentlemen have a great sense of customer service, and I would rent from them again in a heartbeat. Great Job!!

Hands down the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in when visiting Lauderdale. The unit was immaculate, functional, beautifully furnished and great use of space. Washer and dryer was a plus, as well as the relaxing back patio!! Pool feels like a high end resort and was so relaxing !! Derek was great with communicating and a wonderful host. I will be back to this unit !!! Best experience!!!
